Starting Out Homesteading

Sunrise at another property that I own.

I have had several people in the past day or two, email me and ask me with questions about homesteading and prepping. The questions that keeps on being repeated are, “Where do I start? What do I do? How much should I do?” Hey folks, I am new at this too.*smiles* But the good news is that there is an excellent video on YouTube that answers those questions better than I ever could.

If you wish to watch the video directly on YouTube, click here.

I would invite you to visit southernprepper1's channel. He has excellent advice about homesteading, self-defense, and other related topics. Click here to view all of his videos.

  4. Subbed to his channel. I guess I will be hanging out there for awhile because it looks like he has alot of information over there. Thanks for the link.
I have never done anything like this before. I always thought that it was a waste of time or I didn't have the space or resources. I am starting to see though from your posts that I can start with what I have. Thanks.

  6. It's just smart to have a plan to cover your bases in case of a power outage that may last a few days (could happen to ANY of us)or natural disaster. It might not be in OUR home town, but something serious could staunch the flow of goods TO us. Don't want to think about some of the other things people prep for, but better safe than sorry :-)
