This doesn't have one thing to do with homesteading, but I just wanted to share something that happened to me today in hopes it brings a smile to your face.
A few minutes ago while I was out walking my dog, a police car pulled up next to me and the officer asked me if I had seen __(description of the bad guy's car)__. As I was replying “no” to the officer, my dog thought he would try to do something he shouldn't do. I have my dog trained to obey me by different series of finger snapping (that is for my dog's protection) so I gave the appropriate snaps for him to stop. My dog stopped right away and heeled. The officer gave me a very shocked and puzzled look and I said, “I have my hubs trained like that too.” I never saw anyone laugh so hard as what that police officer did. He said that his wife was trying to train him like that also, but so far he hasn't been able to get it right. <lol> :-D
