Mini-Greenhouses

Sometimes an individual plant just needs a little extra help while it is sprouting. What I have found to help is to give the needy plant its own “greenhouse”. Whether inside or outside, invert a glass jar over the plant to allow the heat and moisture to be trapped around the plant. I have found that glass works best. It has been my experience, that anything plastic that is used to cover a plant like that, will cause the air that is trapped inside the mini-greenhouse to actually become colder, which could be damaging to the plant.

Thanks for reading and visiting my blog. :-)
