Violet Tea



2 tablespoons of violets (heads only no leaves or stems)
1 cup boiling water

Rinse flowers and place in a defuser. Pour boiling water over flowers and allow to steep for 5 mins. strain and discard flowers. Enjoy!!


You also can dry the flowers so you can enjoy this wonderful tea later: Dry petals and leaves in a 150 degree oven until all moisture is gone. Store in an air-tight container until ready to make tea. Bring water to a boil, add violet leaves and petals, and steep for 10 minutes. Sweeten as desired.
