Beverage Carriers Up-cycling

At the risk of sounding like a hoarder (which I am not), I hate to throw away things that look perfectly good that I have only used once. Beverage carriers are one of those things. Thankfully, I have found several good uses for them.

To Carry Stuff:
Beverage carriers make for wonderful totes for cleaning supplies so that I don't have to keep going back and forth to the linen closet where I store them. I can just put what I will be needing into the carrier, and get to work. No unnecessary steps having to go back to get stuff which is a real time saver.

To Put Flowers In:
From early spring to late summer, I bring fresh flowers into the house from my flower gardens. Often times I will bring in enough for five to six boutiques. Which is a lot of flowers to have to carry at one time. I can use the beverage carrier to hold all the flowers so that I only have to make one trip.

At Camp Sites and at Picnics:
We frequently go tent camping during the summer months, so beverage carriers come in handy for us for holding things  like silverware, salt and pepper shakers, napkins, that we use on a regular basis, but don't want to leave outside the tent when they aren't being used.

  • Tip: If you will be putting silverware into the carrier, slip a plastic sandwich bag over one end of the silverware to help keep the silverware from slipping down into the carrier and laying flat on the bottom.

Other Uses:
Other stuff online that I found that you can do with beverage carriers.
  • Decorate the box with either gift wrapping paper, paint, stickers, or decorate it some other way and use it for gift giving boxes. Fill with assortment of different things. For example for someone that is sick, you could put in a can of chicken soup, get well card, puzzle book, etc.
  • To hold craft supplies such as markers, colored pencils, pens, scissors, tape, etc.
  • Mini tool kit carrier
  • To hold all the remote controls for all of your electronic things

I hope that these suggestions help you get started thinking of other ways that you could use beverage carriers. Thank you for reading and visiting my blog. :-)
